This scrappy journal
is approximately 5.5 x 8.5 inches. There are 2 signatures with 10 folios each
to create 40 surfaces to use. Papers include scrapbook and plain cardstock. Embellishments
include original photographs and digital art, and many pockets and tuck spots.
The cover is
commercial batik fabric, stitched decoratively to painted commercial fabric
with a pellon middle layer for stiffness. Raw edges create interest and
texture. Circles of batik are fused and hand stitched to the cover; buttons are
added.
