Liberate Your Art 2017

Here are the postcards I sent to Liberate Your Art

Collage of postcards
I love participating in this fun swap. This is the third year I've participated. 2015 and 2016.

Kat Sloma is a generous host who does an amazing job of sorting and mailing. Hundreds of people participate each year. It's so much fun receiving mail art!

Liberate Your Art

This year I participated in LiberateYour Art for the first time. I really enjoyed this. One of my goals for 2015 is to "show" my art more and this is a way to do that. I love snail mail ... I love creating postcards and receiving them. So this project was a win-win for me.

These are the cards I submitted for the swap:

And these are the cards I received:

These are from:
Bethany Lee from Florida
Carol Hart from Seattle
Leena Andrews from Florida
Karen (do not know location)
Sherry Harmes, Amook Island Creations, Alaska
Kat Sloma, coordinator extraordinaire

I'd love to keep on swapping ... so anyone who wishes to receive a postcard from me, please let me know!

Liberate Your Art

I'm participating in a very cool project called "Liberate Your Art". It's a postcard swap hosted by KatEyeStudio.

The world needs more art. The world needs your art. The Liberate Your Art postcard swap is in its 5th year of encouraging you to create, share and liberate your art into the world, where it can do its greatest good.Join participants from around the world as we liberate our art through the mail and brighten the day of those near and far. See what good mailing your art can bring!
Here are the postcards I'm sending.

I like this project for many reasons: 1. One of my 2015 art goals is to increase visibility of my art. This is a great way to achieve that. 2. I hope my art brings joy to the viewer (another of my 2015 goals). 3. It is simply fun to receive "real" mail!

Let me know if you have decided to participate in this swap and/or if you would like to swap with me.
