graffiti

I'm always fascinated with graffiti in European cities. It seems to be more accepted and integrated. I forgot to ask our tour guide about it. I wonder if it's gang-related as so much of the local graffiti is.

I love this! - I love graffiti and think of it as legitimate art - I wish we had more of the European attitude about it! I think the gang issue is a part of the resistance!

I, too, am fascinated with graffiti. In California, on an abandoned boxcar, I once photographed an intricate pattern with the words "GOD has left the station" and in Paris the words "F--- GOD" have stayed with me for years-the power of words, the power of art.

Oh! and did I mention I adore the design of your Blog? The pale teal/aqua backgound with the faded writing is captivating.
